What should I know or do before I install the mods?
Minecraft Forge
In simple terms, it is an advanced post-processing injector that allows you to “inject” presets such as 1000 times better of E3FX into your game, you can get it from here: https://sfx.thelazy.net/downloads/
Always download latest version, extract the files and to install it:
Attila total war danes strategy. Run the provided 'ReShade Setup' tool, press 'Select Game' and browse to your Witcher 3 executable file (For example - D:Game InstallsThe Witcher 3 Wild Huntbinx64). The setup then tries to detect which API the game uses for rendering and uses that knowledge to continue the installation progress. If auto-detection failed, choose the correct API from the list yourself. Setup then copies and renames ReShade + SweetFX to the game directory and finally provides you with the option to start the game rightaway. That's it!
Next time you run the game, you should see the ReShade greeting popping up and a SweetFX welcome message displayed in your game. If that is not the case, try to do a manual installation. Note that the setup tool is just provided for convenience and in no way required to get ReShade fully working. A manual installation will do the same good. Refer to READ ME for manual installation.
Installing Presets - 1000 times better - http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/58/
This mod allows you sharper textures, gives the game colder look and makes over all visual feeling more realistic and less colourful.
Witcher 3 Mod Manager
For 1000 Times Bettter 2.1 preset – After you have downloaded the mod, extract it and copy files into your Witcher 3 installation folder: ….The Witcher 3binx64 and that’s it. Easiest way to test whether it worked is – ALT+TAB out of the game, and then go back in – every time you do that it will recompile the preset and there is a slight delay so when you are in game you should see new preset getting applied and colors and over all visual feeling will change.
Delete these files:
Debug Console & Free Camera - http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/28/
Debug console allows you to spawn new monsters, change who you are (Yes, this is the one that allows you to play as a naked Ciri), teleport between locations , Free Camera and much much more.
For installation - download and extract the content of the zip file without any changes into your Witcher 3 installation folder: ….The Witcher 3binx64 (If your game doesn't start after that download https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784)
Enable debug console ingame with
~ or F2 , Enable free camera ingame with F1 (press shift whilst moving around and you will get turbo mode)
Full list of commands in aesthetically more pleasing style than just a github dump (which you can find also on the Nexus page): http://www.mmo-game.eu//witcher-3-debug-console-commands
Delete the files you extracted into: ….The Witcher 3binx64 folder :

Over 9000 - Weight limit mod - http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3/
If you are fed up constantly getting over burdened and you find it annoying that you have to travel back to the closest village to sell off stuff only to discover that the merchant/smith/Inn keeper are out of dosh – then this mod is for you.
For installation, download and extract to to Witcher3contentpatch0bundles . Default location if you have steam version: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonThe Witcher 3contentpatch0bundles . Once extracted launch .bat file of your choice.
Just launch ‘UninstallWeight.bat’ and its gone, but seriously why would you want to do a crazy thing like that?
Troubleshooting.
If you are starting to get errors or your game starts crashing, then refer to respective mod page for common issues. Keep in mind that if a new patch is released and your game starts crashing or won’t launch – make sure to remove all mods first before trying anything else.

An essential but not exhaustive list of awesome downloads, to be precise. The Witcher series is now ten years old. From its humble beginnings to the AAA titan of today, the series has fostered a passionate and loving community dedicated to doing even more with the greatness. As part of our anniversary celebration, the team at Nexus Mods was kind enough to talk about some of their favorite mods for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. If you're in the mood for something more classic, make sure to also see what's out there for The Witcher and The Witcher 2 – you'll find more than enough to warrant a whole another playthrough.True to the spirit of PC gaming, just about every mod below is designed to help you personalize your experience and really make it yours. So read on!By Jim Fitzpatrick (aka TerrorFox1234)For this feature I tried to stay away from mods that change the overall balancing of the game. Instead, the focus will be on 'quality of life' mods and useful utility mods. I must admit, this was a difficult list to put together. I had to cut a lot of really great mods! As always, mods are subjective and this not a definitive list. Let us know what you would add!
Script MergerOk, so this first one isn't a mod. This utility allows you to resolve conflicts between mods that modify the same game file. No need to choose between one mod or the other (in most cases). If you plan on using a lot of mods, you will want to grab this.Absolute CameraThis mod gives you complete control of your camera settings in every possible situation. Configure your camera settings for everything from meditation to sailing with an in-game menu.HUD Positioning and ScalingJust as the title implies, this mod lets you completely revamp your HUD to your liking. Move, resize, and hide/unhide any element using in-game controls. All Quest Objectives On MapThis mod comes in 3 flavors; Lite, Standard, and Full. Decide which version to use to gain a better view of your quest locations. I would recommend the Standard version for a good middle ground between features and compatibility with other mods.Sort EverythingThe ultimate inventory management mod. Sort alphabetically, by level, or by location. Pin recipes to the top. It applies to the menus for alchemy, crafting, glossary, bestiary, inventory, and quest journal.Manual Trophy EquipThis mod prevents newly acquired trophies from auto-equipping. Simple as that.Better TorchesThis mod lets you keep your torch equipped while climbing, casting, blocking, and on horseback. It's especially handy when encountering baddies at night or in dark interiors.Auto Apply OilsWhen entering combat, this mod will scan your foes and automatically apply the oil best suited to the situation. It's a small QoL tweak that lets you spend less time in menus and more time focusing on combat.AutoLoot Configurable All-In-OneDo you always loot specific items from dropped baddies? This mod takes the work out of the equation. It is highly configurable (as the title implies) with a wealth of features for deciding the how, when, and where of auto-looting.Roach Never StopsThis simple mod prevents Roach from getting stuck on small rocks, bridges, water, and other obstacles. Get where you're going faster!Unofficial 1.30 - 1.31 Mod Update ProjectThis last one is also not a mod, per se. Rather, it is a compendium of patches to update out-of-date mods (including a couple of the mods listed here). You will definitely want to track this project and take a look over the list to ensure that all of your mods are up-to-date.Comments are closed.
